Rhône Valley wines

The Rhône Valley is a world-renowned wine region, stretching from Vienne to Avignon. It is divided into two distinct parts: the north, dominated by Syrah and Viognier grapes, and the south, where blends of grapes such as Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre take pride of place. This boxed set celebrates Maison E. Guigal, founded in 1946, which has become a benchmark thanks to its wines of great finesse and exceptional consistency.

Guigal Hermitage 2019 : a red wine from the Hermitage appellation on the left bank of the Rhône. Powerful and structured, it seduces with its notes of black fruit, spices and leather, and its long ageing potential makes it an exceptional wine.

Guigal Côte-Rôtie Brune et Blonde 2018 : A blend of two distinct Côte-Rôtie terroirs, Brune and Blonde, this is a complex, refined wine, combining aromas of red fruit, violets and spices.

Domaine Anne Gros et Jean-Paul Tollot Minervois Les Fontanilles 2018 : an elegant red wine from the Minervois appellation in the foothills of the Montagne Noire. It has a seductive bouquet of red fruit and garrigue, and perfectly reflects the Minervois terroir.

Château de la Négly La Clape La Falaise 2017 : located in the La Clape appellation, this powerful, well-structured wine is made from emblematic Languedoc grape varieties: Syrah and Grenache. It offers aromas of black fruit, spices and liquorice, with a long finish.

Mas de Daumas Gassac 2017 : nicknamed the ‘Lafite of the Languedoc’, this wine is a blend of international and local grape varieties (cabernet sauvignon; merlot, cabernet franc, petit verdot, malbec...). It has complex aromas of black fruit, spices and undergrowth, offering a rich and harmonious taste experience.

Piedmont wines

Piedmont, in northern Italy, is a prestigious wine-growing region renowned for its fine, aromatic wines. Elio Altare Barbera d'Alba 2019 : a delicious, fruity wine from the Barbera d'Alba appellation. It has notes of black cherry and plum, with a lively acidity that gives it great freshness.

La Spinetta Colli Tortonesi Timorasso Piccolo Derthona 2019 : an elegant, mineral white wine made from Timorasso grapes. It reveals aromas of white-fleshed fruit and flowers, with a lovely freshness on the palate and a lingering finish.
