Originally shoemaker passionate about wine, Pierre Faiveley creates in 1825 the Joseph Faiveley House. It has been 7 generations that wine flows in the veins of the family. Each of them is moved by the same values: a hereditary devotion to Burgundy, an instinctive passion for the terroir and a natural respect for men and vine work. It is today one of the most extended domains in Burgundy with 10 hectares of Grands Crus and almost 25 hectares of Premiers Crus. In 2005, Erwan Faiveley followed his father, François Faiveley, and launched a discreet revolution. He is therefore at the origin of a new dynamic and launch a great investment program to impact the wine culture methods. The wines express a discreet but direct fruit, that appears after some years of ageing depending of the terroirs.
