Champagne Larmandier - Bernier

  • Champagne

Domain

The Champagne Larmandier-Bernier estate, heir to a winemaking tradition dating back to 1765, is located in Vertus, a small commune in the Champagne region. Founded in 1971, it has been run by their son Pierre and Sophie Larmandier since 1988. They are the 8th generation of winegrowers. One of the distinctive features of this estate is its commitment to biodynamic viticulture. Since the 1990s, Larmandier-Bernier has practised environmentally-friendly viticulture, avoiding the use of synthetic chemicals and favouring natural methods of fertilisation and disease control. With the growing recognition of their champagnes by critics and the constant expansion of their vineyards, Larmandier-Bernier continues to shine in the world of champagne today. In fact, these champagnes are often described as pure, elegant and expressive of the terroir from which they come.
