Domaine Jessiaume a family heritage dating back to 1850, is synonymous with Burgundy tradition and excellence. In 2014, a new team, aware of the importance of respecting the terroir and the authenticity of the wines, made significant investments in modernising the equipment and winemaking methods. Hand-picking in crates, meticulous sorting and natural winemaking have redefined the estate's quality signature. In 2020, the handover to Dr Jean-François Le Bigot enabled the estate to make a firm commitment to organic farming and gentle winemaking methods. Today, the estate, which covers the villages of Santenay, Auxey-Duresses, Volnay, Pommard and Beaune, is firmly focused on the future, with ambitious plans to develop the vineyards and diversify the range of wines on offer. This expansion is underpinned by a philosophy that favours simplicity and authenticity, avoiding artificial intervention as far as possible and bringing out the purest expression of Burgundy's terroir.
