Founded in 1870, the Barale farm was a pioneer in the production of Barolo wine. Today, Sergio Barale and his daughters Eleonora and Gloria run the business, focusing on winemaking and ageing to preserve the characteristics of the grape variety and the terroir. Barale's carefully selected vineyards give the wines a strong territorial identity. Barolo varies in character, expressing itself elegantly at Castellero de Barolo and with a more pronounced structure at Bussia de Monforte d'Alba. The Barale family, which has been producing Barolo for 150 years, is committed to organic farming, preserving the fauna and flora as well as the naturally fertile soils.
