The Usseglio Raymond & Fils estate is located in the heart of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, a famous and prestigious wine of the Southern Rhône Valley. It was founded in 1931 by Francis Usseglio, originally from Italy, who expanded the vineyard with his son Raymond Usseglio. The property has been run since 1999 by Stéphane Usseglio: the 3rd generation, who now runs some 40 hectares of vines. The estate produces high class, complex and powerful wines that reflect the appellation, and have a constantly increasing level of quality. Their vineyards are managed according to biodynamic principles, allowing them to preserve the terroirs and the old Grenache vines on Pialons and Grand Pierre in the Cuvée Impériale.
