Domain

Nickel & Nickel was founded by Gil and Beth Nickel with their first vintage in 1997. This domain is located in Oakville in the Napa Valley which was formerly a farm built by John C. Sullenger around 1884. He purchased the land and started building the farm and the 2,800 square foot Sullenger House in 1865.  The house offers a glimpse into the settler’s lifestyle, they helped create one of the world’s first wineries in Napa Valley. In this farmhouse’s basement is a 30,000 square foot cellar. Each row of barrels is one entire vintage of each of their wines. Nickel & Nickel is famous for its single-varietal wines, choosing the best vineyards that reveal individual expressions of Cabernet.
