Domain

Domaine Laroche is one of the largest domains in Chablis, Burgundy. The viticultural history of Chablis and the Obédiencerie starts when the abbots of Saint Martin de Tours settled in 867. From the 15th to 17th century, the Obédiencerie was the main winegrower in the area and resulted in numerous Premiers Crus. In 1789, the Obédiencerie became private property. Its ancient walls tell the legend of Chablis wines. Since 2009, the property is part of the Advini group.  The domain uses agroecological viticulture. This viticulture method takes into consideration the relationship between the plant, its physiology, soil, climate, and the environment. Therefore, the vines become more resistant to diseases in a natural way. They do not use herbicides, insecticides, or even anti-rot products.  The wines of the domain express Chablis’ terroir and are endowed with great precision. For example, Chablis Grand Cru Les Blanchots is a fruity and delicate wine. La Réserve de l’Obédience is a racy, complex, and intense wine.
