Château Branas Grand Poujeaux

  • Bordeaux

Domain

Aware of the potential present on the soil Justin Ochelin buys in 2002 Chateau Branas Grand Poujeaux striving to respect heritage and roots of this cru while giving it a new era. After several years with lot of power and liberty, the domain becomes a fresh and modern place while developing a right powerful and elegant wine. Chateau Branas Grand Poujeaux becomes then an essential of the Moulis-en-Medoc appellation.   Located at the heart of the Medoc on the left bank of the estuary, the property represents approximately 12 hectares. The terroir with gravelly soils provides an excellent natural drainage and encourages deep rooting of the vine plants. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot bring to the wine an intense bouquet with color, richness and roundness.
