The Hilt is a Californian wine estate cultivating pinot noir and chardonnay in the Santa Rita’s valley. With a vineyard locate on East side of the ocean, this unique property benefit from different altitudes, varied climate and different types of soil. It thus offers a patchwork of parcels of wines enabling to select and create wines of different styles. The rather poor soil forces vine to dig deeply. Thanks to a strong wind and a cold maritime climate, the grapes ripen slowly and keep its acidity, participating to create an exceptional wine recognized around the world.
