Domaine Rostaing

Most important domain since the arrival of Renée Rostaing in the production, The Domaine Rostaing is located on Côte-Rotie and Condrieu. It is a family domain which counts today 20 hectares and which is directed by Pierre Rostaing, son of René Rostaing. The first vintage of the domain has been elaborated in 1971 whereas it only has 1,5 hectares of vines split between the Côte Blonde and La Landonne. Since then, the Domaine has been growing and owns now 8 hectares in Côte-Rôtie and 1 hectare in Condrieu. At the cellar his method is a perfect mix between tradition and modernity with full harvest vinification, long soaking process in thermoregulation tanks and restricted use of wood. Its three vintages are all cultivated in the same way to highlight each terroir typicality.
