Domain

Located in an idyllic setting in the Tuscan city of Montalcino, Argiano is a typical property of the region with a big wine past. Property of about 125 hectares, the Domaine Argiano is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, tall cypresses and woods. The vineyard extends over 48 hectares of limestone marl and clay. Its underground cellars, dating from the 6th century provide wines with optimal aging conditions.  Since 1888, the estate's finest Sangiovese grapes have been used for Brunello di Montalcino, one of the world's most famous red wines. To make its Brunello, Argiano selects the grapes from its most noble vineyards and ages it in two different types of wood.
