- Thu, Jul 9, 2026 at 15:00

July 4, 2026. The peloton sets off from Barcelona.
3,333 km. 21 stages. 54,450 metres of elevation.
And while the riders are suffering in the mountain passes, the U'wine team spotted something on the Tour map: an exceptional wine road trip.
The Tour de France 2026 doesn't just cross beautiful roads. It crosses the world's greatest wine terroirs.
🇪🇸 STAGES 1-3: CATALONIA → Cava & Priorat
🥂 Cava → Sparkling, festive. Perfect for celebrating the Grand Départ.
🍷 Priorat → Grenache on black schist. Powerful, mineral, rare. The climbers' wine.
🏔️ STAGES 4-6: PYRENEES → Jurançon & Madiran
🍷 Madiran → Pure Tannat, serious tannins. Like a mountain stage: it hurts, but you never forget it.
🍾 Jurançon Moelleux → Sweet, fruity, exotic. The stage winner's wine.
🍷 STAGE 7: HAGETMAU → BORDEAUX → Paradise
The stage the U'wine team has been waiting for most. The peloton arrives on home turf.
🍷 Pauillac → Château Latour, Lynch-Bages. The kings of the Médoc.
🍷 Saint-Émilion → Cheval Blanc, Pétrus. Velvety, elegant, mythical.
🍾 Sauternes → Château d'Yquem. To celebrate in proper style.
If you could put a jersey on an appellation, Bordeaux would wear the yellow jersey.
🌊 STAGE 8: PÉRIGUEUX → BERGERAC → Bordeaux's cousin
🍷 Bergerac Rouge → Approachable, fruity, indulgent. Bordeaux without the Bordeaux price tag.
🍾 Monbazillac → The Sauternes of the Périgord. To enjoy with foie gras (obviously).
🌋 STAGES 9-10: CORRÈZE & CANTAL → The forgotten vineyards
🍷 Cahors → French Malbec. Powerful, dark, tannic. The outsider you should never overlook.
🍷 Côtes d'Auvergne → Gamay on volcanic soils. Light, fruity, authentic.
🍇 STAGE 12: MAGNY-COURS → CHALON-SUR-SAÔNE → Burgundy
🍷 Gevrey-Chambertin → Pinot Noir in all its glory. Elegant, complex, long.
🍷 Meursault → The ultimate Chardonnay. Buttery, mineral, profound.
Burgundy is the Col de l'Izoard of wine: mythical and unforgettable.
🌲 STAGES 13-14: ALSACE → The tour's surprise
🍷 Riesling Grand Cru → Dry, mineral, complex. A white that ages as well as a great red.
🍾 Crémant d'Alsace → Alsatian bubbles. To celebrate every intermediate sprint.
⛰️ STAGES 19-20: ALPS → Vins de Savoie
🍾 Crémant de Savoie → Fresh, light, festive. For Alpe d'Huez.
🍷 Mondeuse → Spicy, peppery red. As intense as a descent at 80 km/h.
🏆 STAGE 21: PARIS → CHAMPS-ÉLYSÉES → Champagne
🍾 Champagne. The winner raises his arms. The Champagne flows. End of story.
