UWGC 4 concept
U'wine Grands Crus 4 is a Bordeaux-based company specialising in the trading of Grands Crus. Its business model is based on a strategy of "out of phase sales". This means that the company buys en primeur or allocation wines from selected estates. After a conservation period of a few years (between 5 and 8 years), it then sells them directly to end consumers.
UWGC 4 opened its capital on 1 August 2023 and aims to raise funds until 31 July 2024. At the end of this period, the company undertakes to convert 80% of the funds raised into Grands Crus. The company will then be wound up on the first day of the ninth financial year, in October 2031. It is at this time that the company will distribute the liquidation surplus to shareholders.
The benefits of being a UWGC 4 shareholder
Being a shareholder in UWGC 4 offers many attractive advantages. For individuals, the income tax reduction is available under certain conditions. It allows investors to benefit from a tax reduction of 25%, compared with 18% under normal circumstances, until 31 December 2023. This investment is also eligible for the Plan d'Épargne en Actions (PEA), offering the advantages of this tax wrapper. For legal entities, the mechanism for re-investing the transfer of assets allows entrepreneurs to reinvest their cash flow from the sale of assets, and thus benefit from the tax deferral regime. All these advantages make investing in UWGC 4 an attractive option for those looking to diversify their assets while contributing to the growth of this innovative company. However, it is advisable to consult your usual tax adviser for information on your specific situation.
