Château Fleur Cardinale

  • Bordeaux

Domain

Promoted to the rank of Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé in 2006, the Château Fleur Cardinale has belonged to Florence and Dominique Decoster since 2001, former owners of Haviland porcelain in Limoges. The have increased efforts for this 23.5-hectare estate in order to continue the work initiated by Claude Asséo, the previous owner who had done much to advance the quality and reputation of the Château. The vines extend over 23,5 hectares and are planted on the slope and the clay-limestone plateau. Operating methods, traditional and respectful of the environment, as well as significant work on the vineyard and cellar, have enabled the Château Fleur Cardinale to become a safe bet of the Saint-Émilion appellation. Château Fleur Cardinale is a long-keeping wine that increases in density, concentration and depth while maintaining the smoothness.
