The name 'Chave' resonates with authority in the Rhône Valley, and is synonymous with a long winemaking tradition. Natacha Chave, the daughter of a renowned winemaking family, decided to follow her own path and founded Domaine Aléofane in 2004. Its name is inspired by John Macmillan Brown's imaginary island, where wine is considered both diabolical and healing. Natacha Chave continues the family passion, creating wines that inspire wonder. In the beginning, the estate consisted of just 1.5 hectares of vines in Tournon-sur-Rhône. Today, thanks to meticulous expansion, Domaine Aléofane covers 8.5 hectares and is certified organic and biodynamic. A tribute to the land and the vines, respect for nature and a focus on quality. Domaine Aléofane wines are seductive, with their bright fruit, their delicacy and the finesse of their tannins. Fresh, delicious wines that transcend the expectations of wine-lovers. The Crozes-Hermitage, in particular, reveals all the richness of the terroir.
