Domain

Château Couhins-Lurton is a wine estate located in the prestigious Pessac-Léognan region, in the heart of the Graves AOC. It's a place where history, tradition and the art of winemaking come together to produce exceptional wines. Over the generations, the estate has undergone various successions. In 1992, André Lurton took over the estate, purchasing part of the vineyard. In 1998, major work was undertaken to rebuild the winery and restore the château. Thus, Château Couhins-Lurton was born, bearing the title of Cru Classé de Graves. Today, the vineyard extends over hectares of gravelly soil, rich in pebbles and sand, providing an ideal terroir for the production of top-quality red and white wines. The estate is constantly evolving and focusing more and more on its environmental impact. In 2010, it obtained HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) certification, enabling it to maintain its reputation for excellence. Château Couhins-Lurton embodies the passion of several generations for viticulture and the art of winemaking. Its wines are the fruit of a harmonious combination of respect for age-old traditions and modern innovation.
