The Domaine de la Bégude is located on the highest point of the Bandol appellation at an altitude of 410 meters. The 30 hectares of vines, divided into 55 plots, are located in the middle of 300 hectares of land in the shadow of the Sainte Baume and protected by natural ramparts of scrubland and forest. The biodiversity of the region is a remarkable example, where fauna and flora coexist harmoniously and where the vine finds its balance. The Domaine de La Bégude team has the ambition to expand the vineyard to 50 hectares in the coming years. The estate was recently acquired by the Roulleau family, which represents the fifth family of owners since the Middle Ages. The ambition of this new family of owners is simple: to preserve their innovative approach from Margaux to Bandol and to free themselves from conventional rules to propose their personal vision of wine, in these remarkable vineyards.
