One of Italy’s most famous oenologists, Luca d’Attoma, owns the Duemani domain with his wife Elena Celli. The domain was founded in 2000 after purchasing 8 hectares of land in Tuscany, Italy. The name “Duemani” means two hands in Italian. Luca is also the consulting oenologist for the legendary Tua Rita domain, the first wine estate to be awarded a 100/100 by Robert Parker. The domain uses biodynamic methods in the vineyards to produce a wine that respects nature. No chemicals are used, neither in the vineyard nor in the cellar. The soil is a mixture of clay and stones, which means the soil isn’t very fertile. Duemani’s wines are of great purity and complexity. They are famous worldwide and are often nominated by the international press. These wines are among the best-rated by world critics such as James Suckling and Robert Parker.
