Château Rocheyron’s history dates back to the beginning of the 16th century in a hamlet called Rocheyron where a family bearing the same name lived. The family stayed there for several centuries. The Château’s name was first mentioned in 1565. Château Rocheyron is managed by Silvio Denz and the Danish oenologist Peter Sisseck since 2010.  The vineyard is on the Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes plateau, a terroir known for producing great wines.  For the 2011 vintage, they renovated the cave and quickly implemented organic viticulture. The first certified organic vintage is 2020. The Château has also been certified with level 3 of the High Environmental Value label. The domain creates great wines of rare elegance and finesse. Their wine is elegant with an explosion of red fruits and fine tannins. Noble and very well balanced, it will be appreciated over several years.
