Located in the heart of Graves, it got its name from Lovely Fieuzal, who was the last descendant of the Fieuzal family who had owned the Château until 1851. Since 2001, Château de Fieuzal has been owned by an Irish family who fell in love with it, Brenda and Lochlann Quinn. 16 concrete vats are in Fieuzal’s cellar, all decorated with the names of Brenda and Lochlann’s 17 grandchildren. The vineyard has an exceptional terroir and is protected by 30 hectares of forest. Work is done by hand on the 74 individual parcels. The 1893 vintage is a legendary one for the Château, as this wine was once on the table of Pope Leo XIII at the Vatican. Its red wine became a Grand Cru Classé in 1959 and is known as one of the best Grands Crus in Bordeaux. Their wines are unique and elegant, expressing great richness in both the red and white wines.
