Domaine Jean-Marc & Thomas Bouley

Domain

The Bouley family has cultivated vines in Volnay for several generations. In the last century, from 1919, the family vineyard was managed by François Bouley. Christian succeeded him in 1948. In 1974 Jean-Marc created his own estate to which his father's was added in 1984. His son, Thomas, took over the management in 2012 with the aim of joining the great Domains of Volnay. The production is mainly red wines, spread over the villages of Volnay, Pommard and Beaune. A single white plot, Bourgogne Aligoté, is cultivated in Meursault. By combining tradition and technical developments, they produce concentrated wines, with fruit, finesse and roundness so that they can be consumed young or left to age.
