Château Cantenac Brown

  • Bordeaux

Domain

Located in the heart of the Margaux appellation, it is at the beginning of the 19th century that Château Cantenac Brown takes on its present appearance when John-Lewis Brown buys the estate. He decides to build on the commune of Cantenac a castle in a very Scottish style recalling its origins. It is today one of the most original castles of the Medoc, its face is recognizable among all. The vineyard is entirely worked in reasoned fight, the team thus works the soil in a traditional way in order to favor the physical, chemical and biological properties of the ground. The plateau of Cantenac has a gravelly soil allowing it to produce wines with an intense bouquet brought by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet to which Merlot brings color, richness and roundness.
