Domaine Comte de Vogué is an iconic domain from Côte d’Or with a real treasure: the largest plot of Musigny Grand Cru. It also owns a few jewels such as Chambolle-Musigny les Amoureuses or Bonnes-Mares. Raised as its highest quality by the comte Georges de Vogué in 18th century the estate has been then took over by his daughter in 1987 supported by winemaker Francois Millet. This remarkable wine is recognized for its regularity and excellence that express the terroir in the purest way, keeping a true softness and beautiful shades. François and his team take from this cold beauty its elegance and their choices bring to the wines a strong timelessness. The Musigny is really the Domaine signature wine. He is perfectly balanced, intense and terribly elegant. It offers violet and soft fruits notes in its youth and evolves then toward wood moss and leather aromas after ageing during long years. The Musigny Vieilles Vignes is also a reference from the estate, seen as lace and silk. Its aromas softness is incomparable and its complexity is exceptional. It is great ageing wine.
