Located on the famous Côte de Nuits, domaine Taupenot Merme owns 13 hectares split on 20 appellations. The Merme family owned the vineyard that was later divided between Denise Taupenot and her children and Henri Perrot-Minot and his sons. Today the new generation brings a new dynamic to the domain. The terroir range is amazing with plots located in Charmes-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny, Morey St Denis and Nuits-Saint-Georges. The precision of the wine is exceptional and the serious work in the vineyard is illustrated in the wines. The faming methods are organic and respect the environment. No chemical input is used, the soils are ploughed, the vine trim is reasonable.The density of Morey St Denis, the softness of the Chambolle-Musigny and the purity of the Corton make Domaine Taupenot Merme a true Burgundy jewel.
