This ancestral Chilean estate is one of the most important in the Santiago region and a true ambassador of Chilean wines. With 2000 hectares of vineyards, the property is spread over 7 regions. Founded by Don Dominguo Fernandez in 1880, it was formed with the finest French grape varieties replanted in the rich soil of the Maipo Valley. After being bought out in the 1980s, the winery benefited from numerous investments and was able to export widely. Voted "Best Winery of the Year" in 2016, it is now recognized as one of Chile's best wines around the world and has built a nice reputation. Casa Real Reserva Especial is one of Santa Rita's signature wines, produced in 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2018.
