Founded in 1976 by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn, Duckhorn Vineyards has established itself over four decades as one of North America's leading producers of Napa Valley wines. From its modest inaugural vintage of 800 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon and 800 cases of Merlot in 1978 to its addition of Sauvignon Blanc in 1982, Duckhorn Vineyards has created a tradition of quality and excellence that continues today. The Duckhorn family of wineries includes Duckhorn, Paraduxx, Goldeneye, Migration, Decoy and Canvasback. The grapes are chosen from among the best, each selected for the wine blend. Always striving for the highest quality grapes, creative techniques and excellence in wine maturation, Duckhorn continues the age-old mission of never skimping on the quality of its wines.
