Domaine Bruno Clair

  • Bourgogne

Domain

Bruno Clair is the grandson of Joseph Clair, creator of the famous Domaine Clair-Daü. Domaine Clair-Daü was shared between the Bruno Clair, Martin Bart and Fougeray de Beauclair estates following Joseph's death in 1985. Domaine Bruno Clair was created in 1979 in Marsannay appellation. It originally had some parcels of Marsannay, Fixin, Savigny-Les-Beaune and Morey-Saint-Denis. New parcels expand the family estate in 1993 and 1996: Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton and Gevrey-Chambertin Petite Chapelle. Bruno Clair has been able to highlight the typicity of the terroir of Marsannay and Gevrey-Chambertin in particular with the master plot Chambertin-Clos-De-Bèze and the magnificent Clos Saint-Jacques.
