The Leflaive family has always had some hectares of vine in Burgundy. Just after the first World War and the bankruptcy of its factory, Joseph Leflaive decided to dedicate to the Domain expansion. Joseph Regis, its son, took over from his father in 1953 at the head of the 35 hectares. The Domain got back little by little its titles of nobility. New adventure for Olivier Leflaive, its brother and uncle, who decided in 1984 to start in the vineyard and the wine trade and manage then the Domain. The vineyard produces today 8 Grands Crus and more than 40 Premiers Crus in the most prestigious appellations of Burgundy (Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, Chablis, Mercurey, Nuits-Saint-Georges or Pommard).
