Château La Mission Haut-Brion

  • Bordeaux

Domain

The Château La Mission Haut-Brion is a wine estate located in Talence. It was classified as a Grand Cru Classé in the Graves wine classification of 1953. Since its acquisition, the Dillon family has used passion and energy to continue the work undertaken for nearly five centuries. In 2007, after several years of work, new cellars, a tasting room, a bottling centre and storage facilities were inaugurated.  The Château La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc is a unique wine and reserved for the initiated few, given that its production is extremely limited. Indeed, the property only has 2.5 hectares, which is very little for a Grand Cru Classé. This magnificent terroir composed of gravelly soil and a clay-limestone subsoil results in a great white wine every year.
