Son of one of the greatest winemakers in Burgundy, Marc Colin, Joseph owns vineyards in the communes of Saint-Aubin, Santenay, Chassagne and Puligny. He worked for many years on his father's estate alongside his brother Pierre-Yves before launching himself into making his own wine a few years ago. He started with a symbolic production of 1800 bottles in 2016 before truly producing on a larger scale in 2017. With a strong paternal heritage and unique know-how, he now produces 19 vintages, each more magnificent than the last, and continues to honor his origins and his name. He actively participates in the renown of the Saint Aubin appellation, located on the slopes of the Côte de Beaune hills and which has very beautiful terroirs. Discreet, Joseph Colin is a man passionate about the vine and not his job. He practices a clean vinification, suffering his wine only just before bottling to preserve its purity. The precision of his wines, their freshness and their crystalline dress make them Burgundian wines of great elegance.
